What order blocks do we offer, how do they work
Order Blocks overview
Order Blocks are date-specific controls that disable delivery-date options without preventing order placement.
Delivery and ISPU use separate calendars. Blocking delivery dates does not block ISPU unless the Block ISPU toggle is ON.
Key idea: Order Blocks restrict date selection, not checkout, as long as at least one valid Delivery or ISPU date remains available.
Behavior
- Delivery calendar
- Blocked dates remain visible but are disabled.
- Blocked dates cannot be selected.
- ISPU calendar
- ISPU dates are disabled only when Block ISPU = ON.
- Order placement
- Orders can still be placed if at least one valid Delivery date or ISPU date exists.
ISPU toggle rules
- ON: ISPU calendar also disables the blocked dates.
- OFF: ISPU dates remain selectable even when Delivery dates are disabled.

Quick troubleshooting questions
- Order blocks do not work on the PDP when the shop is using only the Mapped Based fees. All delivery dates will be available until the user inputs their delivery address. Then delivery dates will be blocked on the delivery info page.
