Google Pay - General Information

Why do I need to accept Google Pay as a payment option?

Google Pay offers an easy-to-use option for consumers to place an order on your eFlorist website without entering their credit card number on the site. Google Pay will improve customer confidence, and lead to increased conversion rates on your site.

Where on the website will the Google Pay button appear?

Google Pay is available while on the billing page for consumers that make it to this page in their purchase process.

Is Google Pay compatible with all browsers and devices?

Yes.

How does Google Pay differ from traditional credit card payment methods?

We are authorizing and processing the orders online, before you get the order. These orders come to you funded.

How will I be paid for the order?

You will receive the payment via direct deposit, or check, based on the agreed upon terms within their Teleflora Credit Card Services contract.

Can I see the Google Pay orders on my clearing house statement?

Yes, the transaction will appear on your Clearing House Statement along with other other credit card transactions.

Are there any additional fees to use Google Pay?

No, the processing fee will be treated like any other credit card transaction.

Google Pay - Refunds & Reconciliation

How do I issue a refund for Google Pay orders?

You can log into eSAT as an Owner/Manager to issue a refund.

Go to Reports > Order Look up screen > Locate the order.

In the Payment Information section, you will see a refund button.

Click Issue Refund button and enter the amount and the reason for the refund. Click the Submit Refund button.

Can I issue a partial refund?

Yes, you can, the refund functionality allows for partial refunds. Amount up to, but not exceeding the order total can be processed.

How do I reconcile Google Pay orders?

These orders are noted as GP in MyTeleflora when you view batch information to reconcile your credit cards. Additionally, these orders come through to the POS with indicators for these payment methods to also help identify these web payments.
