Merchant Confirmation Email Issue with Microsoft Domains
Information relating to the ongoing issue of florists not receiving emails at a Microsoft email address
For the merchant confirmation email issue with Microsoft domains, we should be explaining to florists what is actually going on. Microsoft is preventing these emails from reaching their inbox. We are not seeing this problem with Gmail, Yahoo, or any other providers.
If the florist is willing to use a non-Microsoft email provider, this will permanently stop the issue for them. We are working with Microsoft and our email provider but at this point the most reliable solution is switching to a different email address for these confirmations.
To check if the shop is using a Microsoft email, navigate to eSAT > Marketing & Promotions > Email Settings.
Paid Microsoft 365 email can be found by looking up their MX records at https://mxtoolbox.com/MXLookup.aspx.
