Update Site Theme

  1. Change the site theme to Macro Green.

Primary Logo

  1. Create a new logo in Canva.
      • Dimensions: 150w x 100h pixels
      • Include only the shop name
      • Ensure text is readable on the site
  1. Upload the logo.

  1. Create a centered logo.
      • Dimensions: 1000w x 150h pixels

  1. Create a new favicon using Favicon Generator.
  1. Use two letters from the shop name.
      • Example: Paragould Florist = PF
  1. Use a background color that matches the site theme and white text.

Layout and Product Display

  1. Change the homepage layout to Feature.

  1. Set homepage products to display 5 products.

Homepage Products

  1. Update homepage products to:
      • t64-1a
      • t46-1a
      • t37-1a
      • t155-1a
      • t61-1a
  1. If adding seasonal or holiday products:
      • Create a schedule with start and end dates
      • Do not use the default schedule with no dates
      • Seasonal or holiday products should never display outside the appropriate timeframe

Seasonal and holiday products must always have defined start and end dates to avoid incorrect display times.

Homepage Text and Media

  1. Update homepage footer text to include additional information such as service areas.
      • Path: Merchandising -> Homepage Settings
  1. Add a new Spring slideshow image.
      • Recommended dimensions: 1400w x 560h pixels
      • You may need to change the homepage layout to Immersion or Carousel
      • Path: Merchandising -> Homepage Customization

Category Management

Create Weekly Specials Category

  1. Create a new category named Weekly Specials.
  1. Set the parent category to Occasions.
  1. Add products by searching keywords such as:
      • summer
      • spring
      • snow
      • pink

Edit Existing Categories

  1. Edit the Birthday category:
      • Add products: t64-1a, t46-1a, t37-1a, t155-1a, t61-1a
      • Remove the bottom 5 products
      • Change the price of one product
      • Deactivate another product

Category Settings

  1. Change category page layout to Small.
  1. Turn off the color category filter.
  1. Add a new price range: $45-$55.

Sympathy Page Update

  1. Change the casket sprays image to product t281-2a.
      • Image dimensions: 200 x 200 pixels

Add-ons Management

  1. Create a new latex balloons add-on.
      • Apply to all products
      • Use an image from Google
      • Image dimensions close to 117w x 90h
  1. Change the sequence of add-ons.
  1. Turn off the chocolates add-on.

Deal of the Day

  1. Update pricing to:
      • 75
      • 100
      • 125
      • 150
      • 175
  1. Assign to Birthday and Anniversary categories.
  1. Remove from Love and Romance category.
  1. Update the product description by adding a new sentence at the end.
      • Path: Merchandising -> Deal of the Day

General Product Settings

  1. Change holiday pricing dates to 2/5 and 2/15 and turn the feature on.
  1. Change product price point display to Price Range.
  1. Backup price lists:
      • Download Teleflora and custom products list
      • Enter shop code and click Shop Files
      • Upload both price lists.
  1. Bulk increase all Teleflora products by $5.

Note In a real scenario, downloaded price lists should be uploaded back to the shop files for the shop code.

Site Lockdown Configuration

  1. Set keepsakes to Never add keepsakes.
  1. Set everyday products to Add none.
  1. Turn off both green buttons under Products Pricing.
      • Path: Merchandising -> General Product Settings
  1. Enable Disable automatic merchandising.
  1. Enable Disable new Teleflora categories.
      • Path: Merchandising -> Category Settings

The homepage cannot be locked down. Always inform the florist they must manually add homepage products to match the configured product count.


Product Attributes and Availability

  1. Create a Coming Soon merchandising icon.
      • Dimensions: 139w x 16h pixels
  1. Apply the icon to product t61-1a.
      • Path: Merchandising -> Merchandising Icons
  1. Set products t64-1a, t46-1a, t37-1a, t155-1a, t61-1a to Temporarily Unavailable.

  1. Add $5 to all price points for the same products.
  1. Turn off product t64-1a.

Create a New Product

  1. Create a new product using a stock image found online.
  1. Pricing:
      • 89.99
      • 149.99
      • 199.99
  1. Add a description.
      • Use a random description if required
      • If no description is provided, use the tag
  1. Set delivery to Local delivery only.
  1. Set orientation to All Around.

  1. Upload an image.

  1. Copy the image address.
