Florist Doesn't Want To Accept Wire Out Orders On Only Wants Orders For Local Delivery

A florist tells you that they do not want any wire out orders from their eFlorist site. First, you should remind the florist that they can wire out these orders to a florist in the desired delivery location, that way they can keep the 20% finder’s fee and a wire fee. They only have to pass along the full product price and full delivery fee to the filling florist.

How to setup:

Define the local delivery area by setting up location based fees with zip codes or cities they can delivery to and the fee that they will collect.

Also a good practice is to add some kind of note to the homepage or about us that mentions the shop only delivers to the following areas.

Setup location based fees in eSAT by going to More-->Manage Delivery Fees-->Continue under Location Based Fees

Make sure Enable Location Based Fees is turned on

Next:

Add an outgoing order block by going to More -> Order Blocks/Exception

Add your username for closure reason along with the word outgoing to indicate to anyone what type of block this is.  Now, add the start date and a very long resume date.   Choose outgoing zip/postal codes option from dropdown menu and save.
